Below are photos of a car that changed me. In 1977 while visiting friends in Florida, I saw this car in the Local Auto shopper. My friend and I drove over in his KR fast back to have a look. The car was show room new and 7K would take it. I had almost 6K in the bank and was ready to buy. My parents did everything possible to crush the deal. Long story short they won and I lost. I never really got over it. I am pissed just typing this and it was 32 years ago.

Fast Forward to 2006 and the Shelby was to live again. I went to Downs Ford and got on the list to order one. I was number three. Downs promptly sold my spot from under me with not so much as a phone call. I quickly searched the internet found a dealer in Illinois. I then ordered the car that I was screwed out of twice. When she came in I flew out, signed the papers, and drove non-stop, all the way home with a huge shit eating grin. I still have it every time I drive the car.....
